Alistair Gray - Financial Director
Alistair Gray (50) is a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive business experience in a broad spectrum of industries as an accountant, finance director and at Board level. He has been a director of Ortak Jewellery Limited since his return to Orkney in 1984 and took over as managing director in 1990. He has served as a board member of Highlands and Islands Enterprise and was Chairman of the audit committee for three years. In 1995 he was appointed to the board of the European Marine Test Centre based in Stromness with specific responsibility for finance. Alistair holds a practicing certificate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and combines his various business responsibilities with providing business consultancy, accountancy and taxation advice.
